Homemade Vintage Lace Pillow

Laced Pillow made out of Vintage lace that I bought for about $1.50 at a thrift store here in our town.

Here's what I did:

1. Take your old pillow and measure that one so you know the size of the fabric you are going to cut. You need to cut two squares for the front and back part of the pillow cover.

2. Once you got your squares of fabric, take one fabric as your front part and start pinning your lace on it until it covers the rest of the square. Once you are done pinning, take it to your sewing machine and start sewing the lace in place, just like the one in the picture. When done sewing all the laces, take the other square of fabric as the back part of your pillow and sew the two together (right side facing together), but make sure to leave an opening for your pillow.

3. Once your done sewing the two pieces together, flip it inside out so now you see the laced front and stuff it with your old pillow. Now stitch the opening and you have yourself a new laced pillow.

Perfect for my little girl's room.

  3. That's one nice tip! Will do that on our old pillows. Instead of throwing them away, will make redesign them. I am sure they'll look like new again.

Hugs and see you around! Have a great day!
