The Shipping:
- I was really surprised when the bag came in the mail sooner than I expected. 

The Color:

- The color of the bag is a bit different from the one you see on their website. The actual color is actually darker Green, but still of a lovely color. 

The Pocket: 

- This bag has one big pocket on the front, it has three small pockets in the interior with one zippered. On the back of the bag has another zippered pocket to store items that you might need easy access in. The bag actually has quite a lot of room and with lovely detail. 

The Closure: 

- The front of the bag has two magnetic closures. 

The Strap: 

- The bag has an adjustable strap so you can wear it across your body or as a shoulder bag. And the long strap is removable, as well. It also has a handle on the top part if you don't want to use the strap. 

The Quality: 

- For the price of this bag, it is not too bad after all. The actual bag doesn't look cheap and it doesn't look like it is going to fall apart anytime soon. 

The Smell:

- I purposely want to mention the smell of the bag last because as much as I like the bag, the smell just turns me off. When I opened the mail, the smell of the bag is sorry to say Obnoxious and it is giving me quite a headache, so I have to air it out for days. I couldn't even get close to it. Up until now it still has that strong smell so I won't be able to use it as much until all that smell is gone. I am really bummed out because I love the color and the style of the bag.

(Hanging on to the straps just so the bag hangs on the right length. It's too long for a shorty (4' 9") mama like me. But other than that, I love it!)

My conversation with my husband about the bag.
Me: Yaye! I am so happy I got my very first pure leather bag. 
Husband: (As I was opening the package) Woooo.... it smells like a real leather!
Me: (Giving him that look) Duh! It is real leather. It's Cowhide. I love it so much, but the straps are too long even if I adjust it. I will figure out a way.
Husband: (Looking at me with a smile) I would be very happy to use the bag. 

I knew he wanted the bag and yes, I am happy to give it to him. Plus, it looks better on him, anyway. Now I wish I had gotten a smaller one like the Drifter or the Victoria, which would be perfect for my size or I would have not lost my own leather bag. (LOL) Seriously, I am glad my husband loves it. 

I certainly don't know much about leather, but these are what I think of the bag. 

The smell: I talked about the smell of the bag because you can also tell if a certain product is a pure leather. The bag was packed in a plastic to preserve that smell and it is not chemically manufactured, and the smell is nothing obnoxious. 

The Color: The actual color of the bag is actually darker than the ones you see in the pictures above. It is a golden honey like color. Beautiful! 

It Is Handmade: When you buy any bags from the Far Horizon Traders, you are guaranteed that they are handmade. And that also adds to the charm of this Sahara bag that I got. The stitching may not be perfectly straight or it may not be perfect at all and looking so rugged, but this is your everyday kind of bag that can handle the everyday abuse. Still, it is beautiful in its own rugged way. 

It has a zipper for extra security and the zipper glides smoothly. The back has another large pocket for extra storage and easy access of things. 

Take note: The inside of the bag is not padded, so make sure to take extra careful when you load your iPad, Laptop, or any other kind of electronics you might carry. 

Pockets: The bag has a lot of room inside to store things while you are out and about. There is a medium size pocket inside, which fits a point and shoot camera. A few loops for your pencils and pen. One large pocket on the back part, and on the left side has a small exterior pocket, which is handy to store little things that you need access right away without opening the entire bag. 

Handle: One of the reasons why I chose this bag is because of the top handle. I like to be able to switch the load off of the shoulders and be able to carry it using the handle. It has a bit of a cushioning inside the handle so it is comfortable. 

The Strap: It does not have a lot of cushioning, it is wide, and it is adjustable. Since I am short, it is way too long for me even after adjusting the length of the straps, so this bag is built for tall people and built for men. It is perfect for my husband. I also wish it had a slider adjustment or add a few more holes on the strap to adjust it shorter. 

The Hardware: The Far Horizon Traders' definitely not messing around with the hardware they are using, which features genuine brass hardware for strength. It adds that tough, rugged, masculine look to the bag. And oh! Did I ever mention how heavy this bag is? It is.

What Do I Think About The Bags?

- I am quickly drawn to the vibrant colors and fun prints of the Koteli bags. What used to be a boring utilitarian everyday shopping bags are now turned into fun and fashionable items. And an earth-friendly too! 

- Being able to use these bags to help save wildlife is enough reason for me. Plus, not only it is reusable, it is foldable too. You can fold it in its own pocket so you can store it in your bag/purse and have it ready the next time you shop. The Koteli bags don't take up a lot of space and the are lightweight. It is a great addition to my reusable grocery bags.  It was easy to take it out of the pocket and easy to fold it back in. But, in case you are having a hard time figuring out how to properly fold the bag, watch the video above. These bags don't smell funky at all. 

- I know these are reusable, foldable shopping bags, but I can use it for anything, basically. It is well-made and durable. It is not super thin and not stretchy. I also like to use the bags whenever we are on the road for my kids changing clothes, snacks, water, toys, books, diapers, wipes, and whatever it is that we need while we are out and about. And oh, these would make great beach bags as well for storing those wet clothes. Aha! It can be an everyday bag. 

- If this was my money, it was worth the buy. Yes, I am happy with the Koteli Reusable/Foldable Bag that I received. Their bags are available in different sizes, colors, and prints. Thank you, Koteli!

Product Review: Okiedog Wild Backpack For Her

If you are looking for some cute and fun bags for your little ones, check out Okiedog! Yes, I know! Even the name is cute and catchy that it gets stuck in your head. What do we think about the bag?

- This bag is super duper cute! My little girl certainly loves it and she has been using the bag ever since we got it. 

- It comes in several animal designs and ours is the "Dog". The bag opens up really wide and lay flat when opened, which makes it  is easier to pack items in. Although, it is a bit smaller than any other backpacks, but I still like how it fits perfectly on her back. It doesn't flop around and it is just the right size for her. 

- It has an adjustable strap, but I wish the straps have a little bit more padding. And maybe even a strap across the chest because it will help keep the straps stay on her shoulders. We took it with us on our afternoon hike and the straps keep falling off when moving around. 

- I like the fact that it is water-resistant and easy to clean up. It is not a softy bag and it can stand on its own. The backpack is not heavy for her to carry around.

- The interior write-on name tag is sure handy to have to keep track of your kid's belonging. 

- It has a mesh pocket inside to hold things like wipes, diapers, toys and what not. 

- My little girl is now two years old and two months, and although we are on the process of potty training her, she still needs her diaper especially when we are traveling. This backpack will be handy to store two diapers, wipes, her little toys, snacks and a pair of clothes for changing while on the road. I can easily keep track of her things that way because she has her own bag with her own things in it. 

- The bag is wonderful to have while you are out and about with the little one. We are happy with the product!

My Review: 

- The color of this handbag on their website is the same color in personal.  One fancy bag that doesn't break the bank! 

- The quality of the bag is actually well made. I actually thought that the material of the bag would be thin considering the price of the bag, but I am really surprised. 

- It has a little pocket on the inside and two side pockets on the outside.

- The stitching is good. I don't see any signs that the bag would fall apart at any time. It has a good lining inside, and the lining on the side pockets are soft and it has a tiny bit of cushioning. 

- It is a good size bag that would carry your stuff and what not. But if you plan on using it as a double diaper bag (if you are a mom like me), it's not that big. Although, I can fit in one diaper and a some wipes. Just in case you want to know. 

- I love the little details on the bag, the map design, and how well the colors go together.

- So far I have no problems with the zipper closure, it is easy to zip open or close.  

- I had a wonderful service at Tmart.com and fast shipping.
