These photos were taken during our two-day trip to Chicago last year of 2009 before our little man turned one. This was our first trip with a child on board, which was a learning experience for us and at the same time we had a great trip. We drove all the way to Chicago and when we got there, we parked our vehicle and walked all the way around Chicago. That is why we decided to stay in downtown Chicago at the Wyndham Hotel so we can be close to all the things that we love to see and explore. We loved going to the Navy Pier. At first we were kind of nervous going into a huge city, but we ended up loving the trip.
Downtown Chicago
Wyndham Hotel
Chicago, IL.
The view from our room.
The Concrete Jungle.
On our way to the Navy Pier.
Navy Pier.
He was eager to explore.
Navy Pier was our favorite place to go to just before the sunset. It was beautiful! The weather starts to cool off even during the summer so bring a jacket with you.
The fog started to build up and it covered the building in the background. What a lovely evening it was!
Inside the Glass Gallery or Museum.
The Millennium Park
Evening at the pier.
Our last day in Chicago.
A little boy running around the city naked.
His favorite place to be at.
Our last day in Chicago and we had to stop to relax before our way out.
Feeding the birds was sure fun.

Wow! That must have been days of walks, Mommy A! Chicago demands more strength from us kay perti ka-daku sa dapit nga malaagan. I love the Navy Pier, too! When we still lived in Bloomington, IL-- Chicago was always frequented kay didto mi tig-grocery ug Pinoy foods.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Mommy A! Nice to see Chicago from a different shutter! :)
