This is my rummage sale haul this morning and for all four bags plus the two Vintage chairs, I spent $13. Not too bad!
I mostly got things for me and my little girl since my little man just recently received an abundance of freebie clothes from his adopted grandma, so he doesn't need anymore clothes.
Let me show you some close up photos of the things I got today.
I think I had purchased forty items today for that amount of money.
I got quite a few skirts and bright pants today that I can't wait to try them all on and plan on how I am going to style them.
Later in the afternoon I went back to the rummage sale just by myself, without the kids and I ended up spending about $1.50 for one bag. I got another clothes for me and my girl.
When I first saw these, I snagged them right away. These babies are mine! I may not be an expert when it comes to fashion, but Moccasins are huge these days. I am still searching for a baby size moccasin or a toddler one for my little girl, so hopefully I'll find a pair one of these days. I did see a pair of really cute moccasin when we were in South Dakota last summer and I regretted not buying them. Oh well, I guess it was not meant to be! These are still in good condition and I still have long miles out of them.
Vintage 70's Wedge Sandals
This on the other hand, I have to get rid of it although it sure feels good on your feet as it is made of soft leather. I didn't realize the size of it and it's a bit big because at that time I was busy keeping an eye on my kid and didn't get to try them on. I loved the looks so I went and grabbed it. The sandals has a bit of a wear and tear look to it, which adds character to the shoes, but it is still good to use. The other reason why I want to get rid of it is because my feet don't look good in them. I have this wide feet and man it just doesn't look right. Too bad because I really like this. So if you like it let me know, I'll give you a good deal like $10 including shipping. It does not say what size it is, but I measured it from the very front of the sandal to the back is about 9 1/2".
This light green trench coat I bought is perfect for spring.
My Vintage Nautical long-sleeve shirt. I love the details on the buttons as well. I was so excited when I found this. Yes to the Nautical shirt? Oh yes!
My first ever poncho! (SOLD)
Around late 1940's- early 50's JC Penney's Brentwood Frocks Dress.
I saw this dress while sorting through the racks and I had to check it out. I ended up loving the dress and took it home with me. I can't wait to try it on once it's clean. I sure hope it fits me well and I look good in it or else I'll end up selling it.
The Vintage Tag
Polka dots are in!
So Minty Pretty!
And oh! I got these yellow babies. I love me some yellow! I am keeping an eye for more of these yellow flowered vintage jars. They are adorable!
These two chairs I got? They are a dollar each, so now I have four
These are my first batch of thrifted treasures for this year,
that means this is certainly not the first and the last. There will be more to come.
Wow! That was a lot of photos. I hope you are not bored watching all the photos of my rummage sale haul today. Have a great weekend, everyone!
