After The Storm

My after the storm update and this is what greeted us in the morning. The sun was up and some of the snow had melted away so now it is wet and nasty outside. But that didn't stop us from taking a short afternoon drive by the lake just to be out of the house. We planned on a hike, but we ended driving around instead. Oh well, there is always the next time.

And, I made another baked goodies this afternoon partly because I wanted to do something for our neighbor who plowed the driveway so we all could get through. How nice! Instead of baking cookies, I decided to make Chocolate Chip scones instead, which was easy to make. I sure hope he and his family liked it. It was a hit in this family though. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, everyone!

My little man taking interest in drawing. He asked me to make an alligator for him and he drew the birds. He said he wasn't quite sure what kind of birds these are, but he drew it.

  7. Those scones look delicious! You will never have to worry about being snowed in again. Your neighbor will be praying for snow so he can do you a favor and receive more scones.
