BLIZZARD 2011

This is our condition as of today in Chetopa, Kansas. It is my very first blizzard and I should say it's pretty amazing! I know it can be very dangerous and it's freezing cold outside, but we actually enjoyed our day today driving around and helping someone from being stuck in the snow. I hope he made it home today, out of the road, and is safe and warm with his family.

To all who are affected by the blizzard, please be safe and warm. Right now I can still hear the howling of the wind and the snow is still falling. We are expecting about 12 to 15 inches of snow, but as the looks of it, it could be up to 20 before this night is over. Our little Harley was not so excited to be outside this morning because of the deep snow that made it so hard to walk around in our yard. It was like a workout just trying to get across our yard and back inside the house. Our poor little dog Sider boy didn't want to be out of their doghouse either as he gets buried under the snow so we literally had to make a path for him. Tomorrow we are planning on heading to the farm and have fun while the school's canceled and we will make the most of out it since this does not happen often. I hope all of you are safe and sound no matter where you may be in the world, snow or sunny. Thanks for reading!

I was only able to take very few photos while playing outside because my hand was so freezing cold it started to get really painful and I had to go inside the house to warm it up. After that, I was back outside playing with no camera and with gloves on at this time. FREEZING FUN!!!!
