Mt. Rushmore
It's one absolutely wonderful place to go visit and explore. I will show you more photos later during our travel to South Dakota last summer.
I was still pregnant with my second child.
This was my first time to visit the place because during my first visit to South Dakota we didn't get to stop at Mt. Rushmore. We only went to the Crazy Horse instead and so we didn't have enough time to explore and we moved on to our next destination. This time I asked my husband to go to Mt. Rushmore as we had a little time to explore so I was excited and happy to finally see the place in person. Thank you dadda for taking us there.
He just woke up from a nap on our way to the Mt. Rushmore. He was not up for photo taking, but he was ready to explore and walk around.
It's fun looking at our vacation photos and reminisce all the things that we did last summer as a family. Going on a road trip every summer is definitely a huge part of our life and we love it. Even our little man loves it. I remember the first time we went on a trip with a child was a trip to Chicago and our little man was almost a year old. It was a learning experience, but we made it through the whole trip. This summer is going to be different though as we plan on staying home and just take care of things around here and we will wait until our little girl is old enough to be able to go on a long road trip like we always do. This will be an exciting summer for all of us though. So much things to do around our house from gardening, my husband's grape yard, raising chickens, taking care of the dogs, etc. That is the reason why last summer we made sure to really enjoy our vacation, we explored more places that we have never been too, stayed in Colorado for a month and pretty much savor every minute of it because we know our next summer will be a different one. I know it will still be a good one even though we are staying put. We are thinking of camping in the backyard and doing fun things just to make our summer exciting, but I figured with all the things we are going to do around our house we won't even know the summer has passed. I just hope it won't be another cruel summer like last year. How about you? What is your plan this summer?
Our first road trip with a child. At first he was uncomfortable and crying a lot, but later on he got used to it and found out that traveling is actually fun. He loves to watch other vehicles or look for tractors and trains along the way. That kept him busy during our travel.
Super nice..Never been to any part of Dakota:(
