Coming home from our afternoon trip in Nye, Montana, I spotted something out in the field that at first I thought it was just a cow. But I quickly realized it was a bear and excitement rushed in. This is a full 8-minute video of the Grizzly Bear we saw right across the cabin we stayed. Not a great quality of a video and also shaky, but I hope you enjoy it. Have a great one!
It is funny how we spent seven days in Yellowstone National Park and never saw a Grizzly bear (we saw a black bear though), but we saw one right in the field across the cabin we rented in Nye, Montana. Amazing! I love it when the bear stood up and was looking around. Majestic! Gotta love the wildlife.
wow its so cool and amazing, was it safe to hike in there? knowing that theres a grizzly bear will appear anytime, anywhere in that place? so amazing to see a real bear in person freely roaming around but in the same time nakakatakot..hehehe :D
ReplyDeleteHi Gene, thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment. yes, it is scary and we are always aware that bears or other wildlife could be around while hiking. That is why it is best to learn some safety tips when hiking in a bear country. Nakakatakot for sure, but it was amazing to see one out in the wild just roaming around.

DeleteMy daughter lived in Cheyenne for years, and we never saw a bear. LOL - loads of antelope, they were all over the Air Force Base. And of course, Buffalo...but never a bear!
ReplyDeleteI am soo envious! I didn't spot one in Yosemite hehe but will probably freak out if I see a grizzly for real. Lucky you and even luckier you got to capture the whole thing
ReplyDeleteOMG, I can not imagine running into a bear in the wild. I would totally freak out, which I know is the one thing you are not supposed to do!
ReplyDeleteA bear! I have never seen one outside of a zoo! Here in Indiana we never have anything exciting happening around here!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see one up close, just not too close :)

ReplyDeleteI would freak out if I saw a bear. We have to deal with gators down here in South Florida. Just last week we seen a baby gator in the lake down street. I don't which one I rather tangle with: bears or gators lol.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I saw my first bear last year while visiting the Smokey Mountains, it was too cool!
ReplyDeleteThat is so amazing. I have never seen a bear besides at the zoo.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame those gorgeous beasts are going extinct. Cherish your experience!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool video! I'd be beside myself to get a video of that...I did like when the bear stood up and then looked like he started galloping. Great memory for a trip.
