MYM: Heirloom Stuffed Toys

Finally, I am back to sharing something for the Mellow Yellow Monday meme and here is my share for today. These are the heirloom toys that were from my husband's grandmother that she made for Tim. It's a set of the "Three Little Pigs and a Big Bad Wolf" stuffed toys. The Yellow Book is not a Vintage one, but the toys are. You can't tell it by the photos, but the poor wolf is like about had it and needs some reinforcement on the waist part as it lost some of the stuffing. When we were reading the fabric book to my son the other night, I remembered these toys and got it out of the closet and showed it to him. He was so excited he was hugging all these cuties and was hiding it from the big bad wolf. It was so cute that he was hiding under this fabric as if he was like one of those pigs hiding in their house.

Let me tell you something about the fabric as well. I was going to make something out of this fabric that's on the above picture, but my son loves it so much because of the cars printed on it, that he will not let me cut through the fabric and he would start crying. So cute!

Hope you guys like my entry and have a great week ahead!

Special and Precious toys.

  9. A nice little children story for adults, given to underrating kids. Your boy reminds me of my grandsons who are equally mad about cars. http://gvk-purelypersonal.blogspot.com/

  11. That really is cute. I don't know how to sew. and I get amazed by people who can make something out of nothing. That's a classic collection, 3 little pigs with big bad wolf. I hope that it lasts longer so it can pass on to the next generation. Thanks for visiting my site.
