We took another 2-day trip across Kansas last Sunday and the trip was about 1000 miles back and forth, and I am glad to say it went well. The kids yet again did a great job traveling and our little man only threw up once after he got sick from playing the merry-go-round with other kids at the park and that was it. Poor thing. During our travel we also made some few stops to pick up some food in order to stay healthy during the travel and we also stopped at the park in a town called "Lindsborg- Little Sweden, Kansas". This place was beautiful, interesting and full of history. Even though we had a little time to explore, we managed to check out the Old Mill Museum really quick (as you can tell this trip was just a quickie one) and we even missed visiting the other place right across the museum. We are hoping to be able to visit the place more often in the future if God allows. We will see!
Here are few photos of the museum.
His sister was going to be on the other side, but no one will hold her as I am taking the picture. No one else was around either to ask for some help and snap our photos. I should bring a tripod next time.
It's a little different this time now when we are traveling and exploring places because our little man recognizes things and he is able to enjoy it a bit more. We look forward to being able to travel someday out of the country and hopefully explore the beautiful country of New Zealand with the kids. That's in the plan!
Inside the Old Mill.
They were able to preserve the mill really well. There are other rooms to explore in the mill, but we only explore a little bit of it. Hoping to be back next time were we are no longer in a hurry.

Our little traveler once again in her cloth diaper. She is one good traveling six (6) months old little bee.
Traveling for us is always an exciting, interesting and a bit scary experience, but we love it. And being able to travel with the kids is a great family time together. We don't take things for granted and we are always thankful for every opportunity that we get to travel and explore this beautiful world.
Have a great one!
Selby is so cute!

ReplyDeletetravelling is indeed one good family bonding. one thing i admire with westerners noh, is that they know how to preserve historical sites and stuff like that. well, like you mommy, we also want to travel outside the country, but i guess we will be waiting when our little baby turns 3 or 4 years old, that way he can appreciate more the places we will be going. super late bpc 129 visit here.
