This Squatty Potty video explains the physiology of squatty to poop and how toilet posture affects your health. Squatting to poop is healthier and helps with constipation, hemorrhoids and other digestive issues.

I got the 7" Ecco Squatty Potty, which is their best seller and perfect for those new to squatting and/or standard size toilets. I like how well it stores under the toilet when not in use so it doesn't get in the way.

Does the Squatty Potty really works? What do I think of it?
- First of all, I have short legs. Going to the bathroom and sitting on that high toilet seat can be uncomfortable if I don't have a way to elevate my feet. And that also means a poor posture on my part because I am not comfortable when I go. When I learned about Squatty Potty, I contacted them to see if they would agree to work with me for a product review because I thought it would be something that would be very useful. I was also intrigued when I got word that this certain product can help you when going to the bathroom and facilitates a healthy colon. I wanted to find out myself what the rave was all about, and glad they sent me a complimentary product to try.

- I know you are asking right now if does it really work? To be honest with you, it does. I am sitting comfortably on the toilet and the poop goes down smoothly, which makes for a happy mommy. You know how cranky a person can get when you didn't get to go properly.

- The Squatty Potty is made of plastic, yet it is durable and easy to clean. But if you don't like the white plastic one, they do have it available in Bamboo. My feet have a proper place to rest on while I do my business, and my legs don't get tired or numb anymore. I am comfortable. It does not move around or slides around when you use it because it has a rubber bottom to keep it steady and in place. When not in use, it never gets in the way because it sits nicely under the toilet. Please refer to the photos above on what it looks like when tucked under the toilet. I really find it very useful and I am glad we got it. All we need now is another Squatty Potty for the other bathroom downstairs. It is also useful for my little boy when he uses the toilet, but we might need to get the 9" one so it is a bit higher. By the way, the Squatty Potty only comes in white color and with bamboo. While I am quite happy with the white one, I want to know if you guys would like to see it in different colors too?

- If this was my money, it was worth the buy. It is well constructed and it serves its purpose. Thank you, Squatty Potty! Don't forget to visit their website today to find out more. Come to think of it, I actually know a friend that could surely use this product. I better get a hold of her.

  1. Oh my goodness. Dr. Oz needs to hear about this because I always think of him as the poop expert. I never even considered that the toilet needed perfecting but after viewing the video I can see that the Squatty Potty is beneficial for proper elimination. Adin, you have found a truly interesting product and it has given me something to think about. Bet lots of my fellow Floridians need a Squatty Potty.

    1. Oh, Covina! I know right! It sure has been very useful and I go to the bathroom comfortably. Vicky's husband has a hard time going to the bathroom and when I learned about this, I thought of him. Maybe this will also help him with that problem. Haven't called Vicky yet though. Anyway, I bet lots of Floridians could surely benifit this product. LOL! :) I love watching Dr. Oz when we used to have a television. There are so many things to learn from watching his show. Thanks!

  6. My little guy always uses a stepping stool to elevate his feet while in the potty. He discovered all by himself that this position is so much better. It works for him, great idea to have this for more comfort and easy when going to the potty.
