Le Jardin Des Fleurs is what the printing on this dress says meaning "The Garden Of Flowers". I got this dress at a rummage sale early this year and it is one of those dresses that I got for 25cents. I bought it during my rummage sale shopping. When I saw this dress on the rack, I didn't even inspect for holes, tears, or size, and just grabbed it right away. I am glad I did. This frock is around late 1940's-early 50's JC Penney's Brentwood Frocks Dress. I had to do a little bit of fixing though like putting an elastic on the waist part just so the dress would fit better. I love the color and the prints. The day these photos were taken I was in a huge hurry, which I had to take photos in the heat of the sun in the middle of the day. Nope! Not a good time to be taking pictures, but I did anyway.
We are finally back from a short trip, but I still have to rest a bit and get that momentum back so I can blog and get back to normal routine. I hope everyone had a great weekend!!!
A mix of vintage and modern (shoes) for sure.

Such a darling vintage dress, Adin. I have seen them advertised in vintage catalogs and magazines from the 50's - a very popular "day dress". You've made it your own! Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday.
