Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

We woke up today to more snow on the ground and still is snowing. It is supposed to be on and off snow today, so everything right now is covered in white. Although it is freezing cold, it still is beautiful in its own way. We are staying home today and hopefully we can go somewhere tomorrow and let these kids be out of the house. After taking the trash out today, I put my snow boots on, my coat, and my hat and headed outside to take a little stroll around the house and snap some photos. Stay safe and warm, everyone! That is if you are experiencing the winter.

The backyard looks beautiful!

I have been meaning to make my kids their very own teepee, but I don't have the materials yet. We miss going to the hardware store, so I guess my kids will have to wait. For now, they are using the tripod and a blanket as their little teepee. They think it is fun!

And with no TV and an awful internet connection, DVDs are providing them entertainment.
Have a great weekend!

  2. oh boy, i love the purity of the world when it's snowing, but sometimes it is just frustrating because sometimes you have to wear layers of clothes just to be warm and comfortable.

  7. Snow is pretty but it's not for me... I hate cold. I would love to move to San Diego someday where it's warmer.
