Nostalgia Thursday: My First Sled Ride

While I was looking at our photos and videos today, I came across with this video that we had like four years ago when I first came here to the USA. I remember my first winter and my first snow, I was so excited about it. I woke up so early in the morning just to go outside and just feel the snow up against my face and I wanted to enjoy every moment of it. Well, can you blame me! I am from the Philippines and there is no winter/snow season where I'm from. I was like a little kid outside our yard enjoying the snow for the very first time. To some of you may not sound as exciting as it is for me especially if you hate the cold weather, but it's funny because I come from a tropical country and yet I seem to adjust so well in the cold weather. I mean I love it! I get so excited when the temperature starts dropping and time to bundle up again. I get even more excited when it' snow time. Just excuse me for being excited about it. I might get tired of the cold weather someday when I get old. Nah!

I am sharing you photos of my first sled ride experience and a video that might annoy you from all the screaming I did. I think I may have scared all the animals away at the farm.

I think it was the most fun time we have ever had at the farm going up and down that hill. I mean I am talking about physically great fun because the next day both Tim and I woke up with sore body from head to toe. We were sledding like for days until the hill was not perfect enough for sled ride. And these photos and video will show just how much fun it was. We were newly wed and loving life!

Enjoy!
