Product Review: Bundle Up In Style With CoverYourHair.Com

So much for the warm and beautiful days here in Glendo, Wyoming, because Mr. Jack Frost is back yet again. It was nasty, windy and cold last night and even early this morning. I felt sorry for my boys walking to school with strong wind and snow blowing, but thank God they don't have to go far. My Review: 

- The beanie is my favorite out of the two products that I got from CoverYourHair.com. It is thick, warm, and stylish, and it is affordable. It is really warm because it has a lining inside and it is perfect for this cold weather. 

- As for the Infinity Scarf, it is not the best quality out there, but if you are someone looking for stylish yet affordable scarf, this one is for you. It is warm, however, and light weight. Easy to use. It is also not itchy. 

The thing I don't like about the scarf is that it has a little bit of smell, so you might want to wash it before using. I would wash it by hand, though.

This is actually not my first time to review their products. A year ago, I had my first opportunity to review their other sunglasses (the sunglasses with straps) and it has been very useful for my kids. Our Review:

What Do We Like About It?

- We love the design and the color of these sunglasses. We also love the fact that it is not just an accessory, but it also made to help protect my kids' precious eyes from the harmful UV radiation.

- The quality of these glasses is really wonderful considering that the price is affordable. It is not made of plastic like the toy sunglasses that would break easily. But these glasses has sort of like a rubbery feel to it, it is flexible that I can even put try them on without breaking them. And the lenses don't scratch easily as well. 

- These sunglasses fit perfectly on my kid and it is comfortable for them to wear. It doesn't come off easily either, even though it doesn't have straps on it, which is a plus. 

- Another thing that we like about these sunglasses is that when it came in the mail, it was in this plastic case with a clip on it. With the case, it makes it easy to store the glasses when they are done using it and just clip it on their backpacks or your bag. 

What We Don't Like About It?
- The only problem that we have with these two sunglasses are the nose pieces or the bridge area, which is hard. Like if my kids are out playing and they fall face first, that nose piece could probably hurt their noses. I just think that it would be something that they could probably make some improvements. 

If It Was Our Money Used To Buy The Sunglasses, Was It Worth It?
- Yes! It would be worth the money. I do recommend it.

Product Review: Nectar Sunglasses

The heat is on and it's time to enjoy some outdoor fun! But don't forget to protect your skin with some sunscreen. And, you know what else you need to protect? Yes, your eyes. Since you can't protect your eyes with the use of sunscreen, thank goodness for sunglasses. My Review:

- First, I want to be honest about what I felt about these glasses when I got it in the mail. I wasn't really impressed with it. It's because at that point I thought the glasses are going to be one of those that are cheapo and won't last. It is thin, it feels delicate, I was so afraid to use it that I might break it. But boy, was I wrong! 

- I was surprised at how comfortable it feels when wearing it and never have I had any problems with these glasses. Even my husband likes the feel of the sunglasses and he is very particular about the type of sunglasses he wears. I love, love, love these and it has become and instant favorite. When I ordered these Desperado glasses, I was also concerned that the fit might not be right, but it is. 

- About the Polarized part, well, I am not an expert on this one. But I have noticed that the colors and the objects appear clearer. I like the color of the lenses, it doesn't bother me, it is just comfortable. I have been wearing it a lot ever since I got it. I am a happy customer! 

- One thing I want to add is that the Desperado Sunglasses came in with the Nectar Sunglasses bag and a glass cleaning cloth. 

- If this was my money spent, was it worth the buy? - Absolutely! In fact, I want another pair of sunglasses from Nectar, probably the KIWI or CYPRESS. They are so cute!

Product Review: Ear Bags & Multi-Mitt From Sprigs

After the frigid temperature we experienced last week, it sure was nice to find out the temperature yesterday going up to 47 degrees F. It's funny how much I have grown used to the cold temperature being a tropical girl from the Island of the Philippines where the only temperature changes we experience are rainy and sunny season. Since the weather was nice and warm yesterday, I decided to take my girl for a little walk outside so she could also play in the snow before it all melts away. 

During those brutally cold days, my new Sprigs Gloves and Ear Bags came in the mail and I was able to test out the products to see how well it works. To be honest, the gloves are good for mild winters, but not when it is brutally cold outside. These are not your insulated heavy duty gloves so it is not something that you would use when your temperature goes down below zero or feels like -42. Although, they kept my little fingers fairly warm while outside playing with the kids. It's still better without nothing covering your hands. Read more below to find out what I like and don't like about the products. 

Multi-Mitt In Pink

Like the coziness of a mitten but need access to your fingers? Then our Multi-Mitts are for you. Designed with a magnetic stay-open flap to prevent the mitt from falling when you are using your fingers and a zipper pocket to store essentials, these mittens are as functional as they are warm. But what gets the most feedback is the quality of the fleece we use. Customers frequently comment on how soft and comfortable they are and how well they fit.

Care and Content:

Machine wash cold with like colors. Only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry low, remove promptly. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

We drove out by the lake the other night and it was freezing cold. The wind was howling on a 19-degree F temperature and the Sprigs Gloves kept my little fingers fairly warm. Fairly warm because the tips of my fingers were a bit chilly, but not freezing cold. Last weekend we had to go out of town to buy a new battery for the Jeep and the temperature was -1 and I wore the gloves. It helped keep my hands warm while getting in and out of the vehicle and while buckling the kids' seat belts.

What I like about the gloves?

- It is so soft and comfortable wear. The quality of the fleece used is wonderful and not something thin.

- Easy to use. 

- It has these textured palm and on the thumb area of the mitts, which is good for when you are using your phone or iPhone or when driving. Yes, I have worn these gloves while driving to the store and it works. 

- Even for my short fingers, these mittens/gloves fit fine. 

- I like that it uses magnetic closures for when you open the flaps and need to access your fingers. I had a pair of mittens before in this style using a Velcro closure and it was a hassle because it gets caught up with my mittens. I find it very useful when I am able to access my fingers because it makes it easy to buckle my kids up in their car seats when we go for a drive and I don't have to entirely take my gloves off so I can still keep my hands warm. 

- It has a zippered pocket on the upper side of the mittens to store little things like your chap stick, perhaps? 

- These are now my everyday gloves, to be honest with you. I wear it even driving because of the non-slip grip palm. I buckle my kid's car seats without freezing my hands because I can still wear it. I wear the mittens when we go hiking or for a run. It is an everyday pair of gloves. 

- I am sure my husband would love something like this to wear during his afternoon run to keep his hands warm while running. 

What I don't like about the gloves?

- Because of its design, it doesn't keep the warmth in 100% because the flap still lets the cold air into your mittens when closed. Like I said, they are best worn during mild winter. 

- It is not fully insulated. 

If you live in areas with mild winters, Sprigs Multi-Mitt is very useful and handy to have.

(These are the medium size Sprigs Earbags and as you can see, my little girl is also a fan of the Earbags. It does keep my ears warm and surprisingly, it doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. Easy to use.)

My Review: 

What I like about the Ear Bags?

- The Earbags Ear warmers keep my little ears warm. 

- Lightweight.

- Not bulky. 

- I love the cable knit design and the Thinsulate. 

- Easy to use. It fits right over your ears.

- Comfortable. 

- It works with your sunglasses on, which I thought it would be hard to wear one with the Ear Bags. 

- Even though your ears are covered with the Earbags, you are still able to hear well. 

- I like how it comes with its own small red bag so you can easily store the ear bags together in your purse or coat pocket when not wearing them. A must have for cold the season. This would also be great as a stocking stuffer. 

What I don't like about the Earbags?

- It comes off easily and sometimes I have a hard time making them stay on my ears. Maybe if I got the small size (I got the Medium size), then that may have worked well. You know, I am little momma with little ears.

It is no secret I love gardening. And to be honest, I would rather work outside in the garden no matter how tired and sore I get compared to working inside the house. There is something about gardening that I love and seeing all my plants and flowers grow beautifully just makes it all worth it. There is an elastic strap on the other flap of the case to where you can slip your hand so you have a better grip of the iPad. You also have a place to put your cards and other papers on the side of the case. The iPad case comes a bit thicker or bulkier because it gives it more security for when accidents happen (and we all know accidents do happen). It is easy to slip the iPad in and out of the case so that is fantastic. I didn't have to fight with the case putting the iPad in and rest assured it is not going to come off at any time. I love the fact that with Maroo, you can be so stylish and fun with your case and at the same you know that your gadget is well protected. But, there is a but. If your kids happen to play with your iPad a lot, then I would say this won't be a case for you. You know how kids can be rough and tough with things so find something that can withstand.
