Dreaming Of Pretty Frocks From eShakti

With the temperature climbing up, I couldn't help but dream of pretty summer frocks. And I love some of the dresses that I found over at eShakti. If you know me at all, I love my vintage dresses and those that are of vintage-inspired. Like these 50s Inspired dresses available at eShakti. Below are some of my picks. 

By all means I am no expert when it comes to fashion, but these cut-out dresses are so IN. The cut-out design adds a bit of a fun style to  your dress and give you that sexy look without revealing too much. Crop tops are huge these days, too. 

Crop tops can be trashy when done wrong, but when you do it right, it can be classy and fashionable. They say that the right way to wear a crop top is to pair it with a skirt or a bottom that hits you on the smallest  part of your body, and also covers your belly button. Leaving just a little bit of your tummy exposed, but not a lot. I wouldn't mind wearing these two crop tops for the summer.

I don't know why I get excited about pockets, but you know, I can store my lip balm, lipstick or maybe some rocks that my kids have picked up and wanted to take home (story of my mama life). What Parents Should Know About Tortle (Prevent/Treat Flat Head Syndrome) And A Giveaway

As a mom to two kids, the news about Flat Head Syndrome or FHS is nothing new to me. In fact, it is something that I feel conscious talking about because I myself have that defect, but I want to let it out. Yes, I am not perfect and I have the same problem. Window Shopping For Educational Toys For Christmas

A few years ago, during our travels, my husband told me about being careful not to open up any personal accounts while in public areas or in hotels specifically. I have read an article online about ways where you can protect yourself from hackers while you enjoy your stay in a hotel and still able to connect online. Whether you are doing your work/business online or staying connected with family and friends, or playing games, there are ways you can do to protect your identity online. Now I am not an expert on this one, but I learned something. 

- One, is making sure to ask the hotel prior to checking in whether or not they are up to date with their data Security system because it says that history shown that the hotel industry is not on top of the game when it comes to implementing up-to-date information security procedures. 

- Before you check in to your hotel and use the computer, make sure your Virus and Malware protection is up to date. 

- Something I learned a long time ago is to create a strong password, which aren't common that contains letters, numbers and characters, and it is also best to change them often. This is something that I do and my husband mocks me with the way I create my password. Hey! They call it a password for no reason.

- My husband also makes a habit of checking the credit card account and calling the company after we travel to make sure there aren't any malicious activities conducted online. Keeping track of your account is a must. 

When you search online, you will find other ways that you can do to protect yourself from identity thieves and another thing is using Virtual Private Network solution or VPNs to protect your identity online like Private WiFi. Whether you have been a victim of Identity Theft or not, no one wants to experience such a thing so it pays to be aware and be protected. Thank goodness my husband alerted me about this matter. 

Sprinkled With Fairy Dusts of Generosity

I must admit, I almost gave up my hope that one day Fairy HobMother would visit my blog bearing good news and granting my one wish for my little man or basically for my kids. Alas! Fairy HobMother visited me the other day and letting me know that the fairy is still out there sprinkling some fairy dusts of love.

My little man has always been fascinated with those battery-operated ride on vehicles since he first rode one from our visit to a Filipina friend's house. He would not get off the toy vehicle and still wanted to drive around the yard until the battery gave up. I felt so sad for him and wanted to buy him one, but those things are expensive. I decided to save up a little bit and wanted to buy one for Christmas, but it so happened that I needed the money for something else. With that said, I am saving up again to hopefully buy one for him before his birthday next year in August. I was thinking of getting him the Power Wheels Kawasaki on amazon.com since it is in the lower price and with good reviews online. Even though Fairy Hobmother's gift can only pay part of my little man's wish, but it already is a big help in saving up some money. I am excited for my boy because I know he will absolutely love it. It will be perfect for him to drive around our yard since we have the place for it and he will be safe. I can just see his face of excitement.

Although, I do have another wish not just for me, but for all of us. We are in need of a new refrigerator just like the LG American Fridge Freezer with a lot of room to store our food, because our other one is really old. This LG Fridge Freezer would surely be an awesome gift, but I am willing to set that wish aside for now and maybe get one late next summer, just as long as our little boy gets his long time wish first.
