Product Review: Smile With Confidence With Smile Brilliant!

Are You Yellowing Or Are You Whitening? Are you interested in some Teeth Whitening products? If so, I have something to share with you today. Something that got me really curious about for a long while now is to try one of those teeth whitening products. I mean, I know going to the dentist and have my teeth whitened professionally is going to cost me a lot, and if I buy one of those whitening strips from a different brand, it is expensive too. But when I learned about a product called the LED Teeth Whitening System from Smile Brilliant, I said I have to try it. I was really curious whether or not the stuff works because I have seen some reviews about it.  And I was lucky that they agreed to work with me for a product review. But before I move on with my thoughts about the product, let's have a little company introduction and learn some further details about the product I received.

This LED teeth whitening package comes complete with our 4ml, 22% carbamide peroxide, teeth whitening gel pen. This compact and easy to use whitening pen releases the whitening gel into a smooth brush tip applicator. Simply crank the bottom of the pen to release an even amount of gel into the brush. Brush on, put in your cheek protector, turn on the light, and you are ready to go. See results in as little as 20 minutes a day!

Step 1: Unlock Whitening Light Battery Cap
The LED teeth whitening light has an estimated run time of 48 hours on one set of batteries before replacement batteries are needed.

The SmileBrilliant! LED teeth whitening light takes two CR2025 batteries. Replacement batteries can be purchased at most local drug stores.

 

Step 2: Remove Plastic Insert
After removing the LED battery cap, remove the contents and locate a clear plastic disc insert.

The plastic insert serves as a barrier between the conductor and the lithium ion batteries. A barrier is required to prevent the batteries from losing power. Discard the plastic inserts, re-insert the batteries, and twist the cover back onto the LED teeth whitening light.

Step 3: Remove Pen Cap & Twist
Pull off the teeth whitening pen cap and twist the bottom of the whitening pen counter clockwise to move the whitening gel to the tip of the pen.

Once the gel begins to excrete from the tip of the brush move on to step 4. Whitening pens are stored with the brush side up so it could take up to 30 twists before the gel surfaces.

Step 4: Apply Whitening Gel!
Paint the whitening gel evenly onto the front surface of your front upper and lower teeth.

Ensure you spread the bleaching gel evenly and along the gum lines as well as in the crevices where your teeth come together. Implementing these tactics will help prevent splotchy results.

Step 5:  Insert Lip Guard

For the 5th step insert the protective lip guard.

The guard will likely come in contact with the gel but avoid rubbing to ensure the gel stays in contact with the teeth for the duration of your teeth whitening session.

Step 6: Whiten Your Teeth!

Place the LED light up to your teeth and wrap your lips around the plastic guard. Try not to rub the light against the lip guard to keep from moving the gel out of place. Then turn the light on by pressing the button on the top!

Step 7: Let The Gel Work!

Treatment times vary based on sensitivity levels and your schedule but it is recommended you leave the light in your mouth for the first 20-40 minutes and gel and protective tray for 1-3 hours.

My Thoughts About The Product:

- Like I have mentioned before, I am not a huge coffee fan. I mean, I would drink it when I really need something hot to drink for the tummy other than tea or hot cocoa. The reason also because I am scared of yellowing my teeth. I know coffee isn't the only thing that can cause that (chocolate, too), but coffee really is bad when it comes to teeth staining. 

- When I first received the product, I wasn't really sure if it would work. And when I was ready to use it, the light that came in with the package didn't work, so I talked to Mike (from Smile Brilliant) about the issue with the light and he was quick to address that issue and sent me another new light that works. He was really quick to send me another one and I do appreciate that kind of service. So Kudos to a wonderful customer service. Now, on to my review. 

- Before using the Smile Brilliant Professional Teeth Whitening Pen, I was using the old baking soda trick. I would make a paste out of baking soda and a little bit of water and put that on top of my toothpaste and brush with it. It does work, but it is a longer time to really see great results. And when I got the chance to try this new product, I was really excited. 

- This little device is easy to use and not a lot of mess during application. It came in with a lip and cheek applicator to prevent mess. 

- So far I have not had any side effects or sensitivity reaction to it, which is a good thing. I have not really used it as much as I should, but I am going to keep using it until I run out. I will update this post to share you any progress with the whitening pen. Right now, my teeth is not all the way white yet, but am already happy with what result I have. 

- The two issues I have with this product are the light and sometimes to tray or guard. I think with the light it could use a little improvement. The second one that I got does light up, but then the longer it is on, somehow it isn't easy to turn it off no matter how much I keep pressing the OFF button. I have to open up the back where the batteries at for it to shut off. With the tray or the guard, sometimes I don't know why, but I have a difficulty of putting it on and staying it on. Those are the two that I could think of with this product. 

Excuse my not so lovely teeth. Awful it is! 

You can't see it really well on this photo, but the side teeth are still a bit yellow compare to the ones on the front.

Product Review: HELLO (Your Friendly Oral Care Products)

When I first learned about Hello Company, I was interested in trying out their products because I always look forward to trying out new things. The things that really made me interested are the fact that their products are made of 99% natural ingredients and made in the USA. Hello is a brand of seriously friendly Oral care products, which their line currently includes natural toothpaste, mouthwashes, breath spray and a toothbrush that is made with biodegradable corn resin with recycled plastic. If that doesn't interest you in trying out their products, I don't know what. But I sure was and I am glad that they agreed to work with me for a review and they sent me a few items from their line.

Our Review:

Before I go on with our own product review, I just want to share a little story about one of the products we got from Hello. When we got it in the mail, we were so excited to try it out so my husband opened up the box and grabbed the Sweet Cinnamint Mouthwash first. He puts it back in the box and to my mistake, I put the box up on top of the ladder because I was working in the house painting our walls at that time. My little girl found the box and accidentally dropped it on the floor and spilled the Sweet Cinnamint all over the floor and my kids' toys. I managed to saved up enough that I was able to try their mouthwash. I was so sad, but glad at the same time that my husband and I got to try it. Now on to our review. 

- When we first saw the products, we thought they were pretty neat looking. The design and the color of their packaging is pretty fancy like fashionable looking oral care products. And then we thought, does it really work? 

- When my husband first tried the mouthwash, he instantly loved it. He said it feels cool, refreshing, it tastes good, and it works. For me, I love it. I said this to my husband when I first tried it, that the mouthwash tastes like candy. It was sweet because Hello uses natural sweeteners like Xylitol and Stevia. I love the combination of sweet with cinnamon, then the mint gives your mouth that fresh and cool feeling. You can really taste and feel the difference when you use the Hello mouthwash. 

- The thing about Hello mouthwash is that it has no alcohol unlike other mouthwashes on the market. You would probably question if the product really works or not because it has no alcohol, right? But it does work. The thing that I don't like about other mouthwashes that do have alcohol is that it burns and stings. It tends to dry out my mouth and limits the flow of saliva. Not a good feeling. And I also learned that saliva is designed to wash away the bacteria that causes bad breath. And if we limit the flow of saliva in our mouth, then that doesn't good. We are very impressed with the product and we hope you are too. 

- The only thing I would suggest about the mouthwash packaging is their cap. I mean I wish it would have been tightly sealed and also something portable where you can store it in your luggage and take with you on a trip without worrying about leakage. You can't really seal it tight, but I love the design of the bottle though. It makes you want to display in the bathroom and not hide it in the cabinet. 

- For the toothpaste, we also love it. My little man loves it too. Yes, it is safe for kids because is made from natural ingredients; no artificial colors, no artificial sweeteners, dyes and it is alcohol-free. I make sure that he won't swallow it though, but he knows and he is pretty good at brushing his teeth on his own. You can feel your teeth and mouth clean after brushing. Hello toothpaste has SLS or Sodium Laurel Sulfate, which is a cleaning agent derive from coconut and palm oils. It's the stuff that makes Hello toothpaste foam just a touch. 

- The breath spray is also of the same way. I love that you can carry the breath spray with you in your purse or in your pocket because it is small and you'll have something to freshen up your breath when the situation requires it. So refreshing and tastes good. I am telling you it tastes like candy. 

- We really are very impressed by the Hello products that we got including the toothpaste, breath spray, the toothbrush and the flash drive. These are the items that we do use at home and we are glad we had the opportunity to try them. Would we buy it again? Yes, we would. I just have to find which store near us carries their products. It says they are available at Target and we love shopping there so I will be looking for Hello products.
