My SAHM Style: My Momiform (Mom Uniform)

What a warm and beautiful day it was today compare to the past few days that we had. Because of those colder days, it resulted to lounging in over sized vintage sweaters, leggings and knee-high socks, which have been pretty much became my "Momiform". Wearing this outfit around the house is so comfortable and warm like I am wearing my PJ's on without being too frumpy-lumpy. My life as a SAHM isn't a glamorous one, but I do love it. Screaming kids, stress and all.

My SAHM Style: Cold And Rainy Day

I wore this outfit yesterday when my family and I went to the school's Open House visit where my husband and my son go to. Like I said, I now have a Kindergarten student so it was the chance to meet his teacher and the students at school. The night went so well and it was fun meeting everyone. Thank you for the lovely welcome as well. 

We have had some cold and rainy weather this week, but the weather doesn't require wearing a thick coat, yet. I put on a black jeans and my favorite black loose sweater, then added a pop of color by wearing this Warriors In Pink Scarf and my first ever pair of animal printed shoes. On a cold and rainy day, I felt warm and comfortable while visiting everyone at school. My style is more of a low-key and nothing too fancy. I like to be able to put on clothes that doesn't require a lot of fuss, but still look presentable.

From Old Clothes Scarf

We are now 9 days before Christmas and I am getting excited and sad at the same time. I wish my mom and dad are here to celebrate this holiday. Instead, they are thousands of miles away, halfway around the world, in the Philippines. So to all of you, Have A Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year! I hope you get to spend it with your family and friends.

Anyway, I was a little busy today doing a lot of things, but I managed to whip up something really quick. It's a scarf made out of old clothes. I wish I came up with this idea, but did not so I am going to share you this tutorial that I used from Susan of Living With Punks. If you have not heard or visited Susan before, she's got some amazing and interesting things that you should check out. Thank you so much for sharing this clever idea! It is another way of getting rid of those old clothes or even scraps. Recycle them and put them to good use. It is also perfect to make as Christmas gift for someone you love if you are still thinking of what to buy for holiday gifts. In this way, it is very inexpensive and made with love. So here is my own scarf and I am off to make few of these and some hats.
