My Review: 

* What Do I Like About Modkini?

- It is easy to assemble. 

     At first, I thought the Modkini wasn't going to work on one of my tops that has a wider strap. But thank goodness, the rings that the straps go through is stretchable.

- It is comfortable, stretchy, flexible, and well made. It feels secure when wearing it. The material is nothing too thick or too thin, but it is just right. 

- I love how you are able to transition your bikini into a tankini without having to purchase one. Buying just one tankini can be pricey, then you only have one. Plus, with tankini, you don't really get that great support, especially for women that need the support. With the use of Modkini, you can use your already existing bikini and transform it into a tankini in an instant. That's amazing! 

- The fit of the Modkini on me is more of a relax fit. I guess I should have ordered the Xsmall for a more fitted size. But this one still works for me. It will surely get a lot of use this summer on our vacation. Make sure to check the proper sizing when you order. It really is just a simple swimwear attachment that is affordable to buy and it works well.

Our Review:

What Do We Like About The Product?

- It was easy to install. The Butt Bench comes with an instruction on how to install it properly. Or you can also watch the video above on how to properly install the Butt Bench. By the way, there are some important FAQs you need to know before you make any purchase, so make sure that you check that out on your website. Like for example, the type of bathtub you have and the size of the Butt Bench you would need for your tub.

- I love the White Pine color and it fits well in the bath tub that we have. The suction cups work really well and the bench doesn't move around when you are sitting on it. It holds all of the bath items and it is within reach. It also works great when I sit down to shave my legs or when lathering soap on my legs. 

- The kids thought it was funny to have the bench because now they have a place to sit on. Although, when kids are in the tub taking their baths, I just have to remind them to be extra careful or else they will bump their noggins on the butt bench. I could take it out when the kids are in the tub (they do take a bath together sometimes), but the bench is also handy for holding their toys. They aren't as rowdy when taking a bath so they are okay. Plus, I keep an eye on them. 

- I also think that the Butt Bench is helpful for elderly people who needs assistance in the tub. It says the Butt Bench can hold up to 300 Lbs of weight under normal usage as a bathtub seat. 

What We Don't Like About The Product?

- I don't like the part where the white paint is starting to chip off. I guess I should have ordered the pine or the cedar bench then. So far, that's the only issue I have with the butt bench.

To address the issue about the defect on the Butt Bench White Pine Bench, here is a message from the owner of the company explaining what could have happened. And guaranteed they are doing something about the issue to avoid something like this to happen in the future. 

 "I'm sorry about the defect.  We never had a problem before, except for

twice now within the last two months, with the white seats.

I think some one in the factory got some of the white ones dirty or

greasy  and the finish will not stick.  We never had a problem like

this before.  Apparently we got a few bad ones.

............ People will think this

would happen to all our seats. Which is certainly not true.

............ Something strange happened to a few white ones only."

This was how my conversation with my 5-year old boy went a month ago. 

Harley: Mama, will you buy me a guitar?

Our Review: 

I grew up not really knowing anything about playing any kind of instruments. I can sing and been a part of the church choir, but never really had the chance to learn how to play. Part of that is because we didn't really have the budget for me to go to any classes or the budget to buy any instruments. I did however have the interest in learning how to play the guitar one time when my cousins were into it. I did learn just a little bit, but never was enough. And now, I have no clue at all. I wanted my kids to be able to learn how to play any kind of musical instruments that they are interested in and when my son asked me to get him a guitar, I contacted the ChordBuddy company right away.

ChordBuddy Jr is a perfect guitar for young kids like him who are interested in learning how to play because of the size is perfect for kids, and other things that come with it like the ChordBuddy Jr device that attaches to the guitar. It is designed to help kids learn with ease.When I found out that they were going to send us a brand new ChordBuddy Jr for my little man, I was really thrilled. Also, because I thought I could surely use a guitar lesson. 

Like what it says in the product description, it came in with a few things to really aid young kids in learning. In the DVD that comes with it, Travis Perry, the inventor of ChordBuddy and the ChordBuddy Jr, teaches you step-by-step about the world of guitar. He'll teach you the parts of the guitar, tuning and string names, chord names and which fingers to use, etc. 

As for my own experience, at first I had no clue about playing a guitar (still doesn't), but it was amazing that I was able to play simple songs in one day. You know, the popular kid songs like London Bridge, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Old McDonald Had A Farm, and so on. In the video, you will see me playing Amazing Grace, which I just learned that night because it was easy. I didn't think it would be that easy to play, but thank goodness to the device. With the help of the ChordBuddy Jr device, it made learning and playing guitar a bit easier. It teaches you the proper finger placement and build finger strength as well. And once you get comfortable with the finger placement, you can easily remove the device and keep on playing. What a great invention Mr. Travis Perry did. 

I got to be honest though. Since none of us play guitar, well my husband knows a little bit, but he had a difficulty tuning the guitar even with the use of the digital vibration tuner. It is a tuner device that comes with the package, which you clip on the headstock of the guitar. And that's just because we don't know anything (LOL). We had to ask our little boy's music teacher Ms. Maue to tune it for us and we thanked her for that. Harley still has a lot of learning to do when it comes to guitar, but I am sure he will learn one of these days. And when he does, I will update this review by then.

Today, I am doing a product review about a pair of shoes that instantly became my little girl's favorite pair. This pair of shoes is called the Child Roo Moccasin from Soft Star. I mean, I can tell because the moment she saw it in the box, she grabbed it from me and she didn't even need help putting them on because she managed to do it on her own. After putting her new pair of Mocs, she asked me to get her dress, a bag, and a hat. My two-year old little girl is growing up fast. - Look who's excited to have her new pair of Soft Star Child Roo Moccasin! They are the cutest thing ever and even my dear husband agrees with me. My little girl sure was excited to wear her new mocs when I opened up the box. Once she was all dressed up and was ready to go outside, I was able to snap some photos of her wearing the shoes. And of course, she didn't want to take them off. And I don't blame her. And you want to know why? Because they are super soft and comfortable on her little feet. The inside is soft, plush, and it doesn't give her blisters. Not to mention how cute the style and the color of the shoes! I know! If only these were my size, I would totally wear them. 

-  Another thing you need to know about all of Soft Star's footwear is that they are handmade to order with Eco-friendly leathers, sheepskin and genuine Vibram soles. And, they are Made In USA. Yaye! I am really happy about that. 

- I was told that it will take about a week or so for me to get the shoes since they handcraft them after you placed your order. And they were right about it. I still think they did a great job of making the shoes and able to ship it to me within 12 days. 

- My little girl wears size 6, but when I was told that they can be a bit snug, I wanted to order up a size so it will have plenty of room to grow. I want her to really enjoy wearing this pair of shoes. These are perfect for little ones feet because they don't hurt, they are soft, and comfortable.

- I know you are asking right now if does it really work? To be honest with you, it does. I am sitting comfortably on the toilet and the poop goes down smoothly, which makes for a happy mommy. You know how cranky a person can get when you didn't get to go properly. 

- The Squatty Potty is made of plastic, yet it is durable and easy to clean. But if you don't like the white plastic one, they do have it available in Bamboo. My feet have a proper place to rest on while I do my business, and my legs don't get tired or numb anymore. I am comfortable. It does not move around or slides around when you use it because it has a rubber bottom to keep it steady and in place. When not in use, it never gets in the way because it sits nicely under the toilet. Please refer to the photos above on what it looks like when tucked under the toilet. I really find it very useful and I am glad we got it. All we need now is another Squatty Potty for the other bathroom downstairs. It is also useful for my little boy when he uses the toilet, but we might need to get the 9" one so it is a bit higher. By the way, the Squatty Potty only comes in white color and with bamboo. While I am quite happy with the white one, I want to know if you guys would like to see it in different colors too?

What do I think of the soap?

What I think about the products? 

For the Body and Facial Serum:

- Both of the serum have a smell that reminds me of grandpa and grandma (if you are a Filipino you would probably understand). I mean, reminds me of those herbal oils that they would use to rub all over their body and they said it is good for you. I am not bothered by the smell at all because I am used to essential oils, but it reminds me of that. But it is nothing offensive, though. I love essential oils and I have a few collections of them. For some, it could take a while getting used to it. I don't like using it in the morning, but at night before going to bed, after a warm bath and washing my face.

- The body and facial serum are not greasy, it absorbs quickly into your skin, and I notice that within a few minutes of applying the body and facial serum, my face and skin are noticeably soft. It feels really good! 

- It was nice that in the package, they included the dropper and the sprayer for the serum bottles for easy application. All I had to do was I removed the caps of both serum bottles and replaced it with the dropper and the sprayer. 

- So far I have not had any irritations, but the only thing I have noticed is that whenever I use the facial serum it stings just a little bit and it goes away fast. Product Review: Tofu Press- Easy, Affordable Way To Squeeze Water Out Of Tofu

I was never a fan of tofu before and never even thought of trying some until my cousins introduced me to it. I never really thought tofu can taste so good because all I thought was this tasteless, bland, meat-wanna be food. I mean, can you blame me? It definitely is an acquired taste. And then when I was little and was diagnosed with dengue fever, I was rushed to a hospital in Cebu, Philippines, which serves tofu in their menu. Their tofu dishes tasted really good and I was really surprised at how tofu can taste that good when you know exactly how to prepare it. We had a meal one time where they prepared us all kinds of tofu dishes and you would not believe that they were even made out of tofu. It was very delicious! I have been trying to recreate those dishes for the past few days, but I just couldn't get the taste quite right. Thus, I always resort to a more fail-safe way of preparing tofu by marinating it like you would marinate a chicken for making adobo (a Filipino dish). 

Because I buy tofu a lot, I researched about a way where I can easily squeeze water out of the tofu without using a bunch of paper towels or piling up a bunch of heavy objects just to wring water out of it. There are four (4) easy steps on how to use the EZ Tofu Press

1. Place Tofu brick in between the two press plates.

2. Tighten knobs simultaneously or alternately so the tofu brick is pressed evenly. Stand EZ Tofu Press on its side for better water removal.

3. Pressing can take a minimum of 5 to 15 minutes depending on the how fast tension is applied. To quickly dry tofu, tighten knobs every 2-4 minutes while preparing meal. After several uses, you will find what works best.

4. When “dry”, reverse tension knobs and slide brick out, marinate and cook!

What I like about the product?

- Fast shipping. Great customer service. 

- Easy to use. 

- I like how the pieces are all connected together so you don't end up loosing parts. 

- Easy clean up.

- Doesn't take up a lot of space in your counter or your cabinet when storing. 

- If this was my money, it is worth the buy especially when you eat tofu a lot. No one wants a soggy tofu so an easy press like this is a must in your kitchen. 

- Affordable price compares to the other tofu presses that are out in the market. I mean, I have not used other tofu press before, but this one works well so I don't need to try the other brands. 

- I was able to squeeze out 1/4 cup of water out of the tofu in just a few minutes and I would have squeezed more if I let it stay longer. 

- It came in with its own little measuring tool so you can figure out the width of your tofu.

- No more using of paper towels, or heavy pans or cans to squeeze water out. 

- What else can I say except EZ Tofu Press is an excellent product. 

- And like always, I love products that are made in the USA. 

(I don't even know what to call this dish, but I just mixed vegetables together with the tofu and added some tomato sauce. It doesn't look pretty, but it was good!)
