I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends! Things are okay here in the Blankenship family and enjoying the cold weather. Anyway, something is keeping me busy these days that's why I have not had any chance on participating any Monday Memes, but I hope I will get to it once I am done with my project. I am actually making a messenger bag for a laptop. A friend of mine asked me the other day if I still make bags and of course I would be happy too. She asked me if I could make her a messenger bag in maroon color for a 15-inch laptop. She also likes wool fabric so I think it is nice that it is made out of wool since it is thicker and with batting, it will surely protect her laptop. I just hope she will like it though. I am still working on it and the only thing that is holding me is that I don't have the hardware for the bag so I need to buy it as soon as possible. It will have an adjustable strap and hoping I can add another detachable short straps to it. We will see when I get all my materials needed. I am so excited to see the finish product and mail it to her. Wish me luck!
For the meantime, I am going to share you another one of my rummage finds at the rummage sale that I went too last two weeks ago. This time I found a really nice and warm coat for only $1.00. Yes sir! I was so excited when I saw it and it was like love at first sight for the coat that is. I mean look at this baby, isn't it nice? I have been wanting a coat like this which is warm and made out of wool. I didn't even look at the size of this coat and I just grabbed it right away. That's how excited I was. It is in medium size though (I wear size small) but I will have plenty of room whenever I wear those thick sweaters for the really freezing cold winter days.
What do you think? Let me know if you got some rummage, thrift store, garage/yard sales finds. Have a great day!
